Birkenstock Replacement. I spilled curry sauce all over my trusty Birkenstock house shoes last winter and they’ve been kind of gross ever since, so I’m thinking of going for them all over again.

Quilted Jacket. A cute quilted jacket that reminds me of something from Barbour, only slightly chicer.

Soft Pants Need. I discovered during my recovery days that I do not have enough sweatpant-adjacent 'soft' pants.

Ribbed Knit Dress. A fun little ribbed knit polo-collar dress in graphic black and white.

O-ring Belt Preference. I always like an O-ring belt, and I especially like the more oval shape of the buckle on this one.

Chelsea Boots. A solid pair of Chelsea boots with a nicely clunky sole.

Stylish Blazer. Check out Rag & Bone’s ever-popular Slade blazer, also available in this excellent (if a mite impractical) ecru.

Recommended Sweater. I found much to like, for example this oversized alpaca blend crewneck from Anine Bing, whose sweaters I’m a fan of.

Boyfriend Sweater. I love a big huggy boyfriend sweater; perfect both for days you're lounging and days you're out and about.

Chic Sweater Jacket. Such a chic and lady-adjacent little sweater jacket from Alex Mill.

Cozy Appeal. This is just so excellently fuzzy and cozy-looking, and I like the grey.

Lightweight Cardigan. A fine knit cardigan that comes in several good, mostly earthy, shades.

Drape and Silhouette. I feel like this cashmere collared cardi would go with a lot and drapes really nicely.

Layering Suggestion. This sweet little pointelle sweater would be perfect to layer over a dress.

Quality of Cashmere. This chunky cashmere blend from Cos is 40% cashmere and 60% wool, but is so soft that you might be shocked to learn that.

Color Variety. This striped cardi comes in a veritable ton of colors, and since it's from Universal Standard, a bumper crop of sizes too.

Deep V-neck Preference. And finally, I always appreciate a deep V-neck.

Handmade Look. This cable knit is on the pricier side, but it almost looks handmade, and has such good details.

Beauty Product. I swear by the Milk lip and cheek stick. It gives me such a healthy look.

Etsy Finds. I went down an Etsy rabbit hole searching for vintage cross-stitched napkins.

Glassware Preference. My best friend liked my drinking glasses so much, she asked me to bring a set back to Brazil.

Perfect Topcoat. I have wanted a clean-lined topcoat for a while now, and this one is just about perfect.

Modern Silhouette. Another good coat with a really modern (and pricey-looking!) silhouette.

Gold Button Cardigan. I’m a sucker for a gold button, and I love the way they make this wool blend cardigan stand out.

Stylish Lace-Up Shoes. I am so in love with my new lace-up shoes from an Italian brand called Sturlini that I had not previously heard of.

Premium Sneakers. Most of the time I firmly believe that anything over $150 is too much to pay for sneakers but these were the absolutely perfect grey suede that I’d been searching for.

Future Predictions. What the future—specifically, 2024—looked like in 1974. Some predictions came true, and others, not so much, but this is all-in-all fascinating.

Nostalgic Artifacts. These photos of vintage cassette tapes are such a fun nostalgia jolt.

Glory of Glass Skin. The aesthetically inclined have been glorifying glass skin for a while, since 2017 at least—long enough that the K-beauty creation is no longer a beauty trend but a beauty standard.

Glass Skin Trend. The trend of glass skin, as claimed by a PR email, is still prevalent, with over one billion Google search results.

Injury Indicator. A waxy, glassy, shiny forehead is incorrectly associated with a 'glow,' which it is not; it is the sign of injury.

Importance of Dead Skin. Dead skin cells serve an important biological purpose as part of the all-important skin barrier and store Natural Moisturizing Factors.

Pores Significance. Pores are outgoing channels for sebum and sweat, the skin's natural highlighter-slash-moisturizer and the body’s temperature regulator, respectively.

Tinted Balm. This tinted lip balm isn&#8217;t technically a mini, but it&#8217;s pretty diminutive, and imparts a nice hit of sheer color.

Travel Razor. This Gillete Venus mini is just the cutest.

Makeup Removal. This Bioderma micellar water gets all your makeup off, and doesn&#8217;t dry out skin in the process.

Favorite Mascara. Milk Makeup&#8217;s Kush mascara volumizes like nobody&#8217;s business and is my favorite mascara of the moment by far.

Sunscreen Tint. It has the perfect tint for my skin tone.
